Wed, July 2nd update

Thanks for everyone's prayers! Yesterday Dan had progressed enough to be released from the hospital. He arrived home at 3:30pm. Praise the Lord!!! We have his bedroom set up for his continued recovery on his spine. A number of years ago Dan and Carol's Bible Study got them an adjustable bed...so Dan is able to put his bed in many different positions which is a great help. Please continue to pray for all post-operative issues...his pain level to diminish, no infection, balance of medications, and for the body to recover from the shock of surgery. He is getting up and about for about 45 minutes at a time...pray that that will increase each day. A physical therapist will be coming out tomorrow. We'll keep you updated.
