Dan back home
Dan came home from the hospital on Saturday. He is still experiencing a great deal of pain but they are going to try to manage it from home. Dan has a port (like a permanent IV) in his arm so that the pain meds can be administered directly into his bloodstream at home. Please pray for relief from this pain, and an understanding of the direct cause of the pain so a effective strategy to combat it can be discovered. Also keep Carol and the boys lifted in prayer. Pray for Carol as she learns to administer the meds and manages Dans care. Pray for the boys as they begin a new school year.

Dan,
Just know that I will be praying for you on a daily basis. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am where I am today in part because of you. Those early morning breakfasts, though few, had a huge impact on my life. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and me. I will be praying with that authority.
