Thanksgiving weekend

Hope you are enjoying your thanksgiving weekend....I have much to be thankful for...mainly your prayers. I had a good consultation with my pain Dr. last Mon...and we talked a long time about the injection procedure, he has many hesitations. One being my V.P. shunt, which he forgot about, so we're holding off on the procedure until Dec. I'm also thankful for this large wheelchair where I can be in almost a flat position. We've put a small pad on top of it and I was able to go to my sister's house for thanksgiving while being wheeled around in it. I will continue to search for more options and push my body for more and more mobility. Right now I am still mainly in my bed or in that chair and up for only a few minutes at a time. I've set up a work station in my bedroom so I can continue to minister. Carol and the boys continue to help me at every turn, so, like I said, I have much to be thankful for. We'll keep you posted on the date of the procedure.

Happy Thanksgiving!
