I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't been there. ...After today and yesterday's doses of antibiotic Dan seemed a bit better this morning. Then he said that he was chilling...took his temp and it was 99.5...he already had tylenol and advil working for him so I didn't expect it to get much worse. Then he started shivering violently and breathing rapidly. We ended up calling our home nurse and 911. I'd never seen him shake the whole bed so I really felt out of my league. Everyone was very nice and evaluated Dan's vitals and after about 30 minutes his shakes subsided. His fever then climbed up to 102.5 and just a few minutes ago it was clocked at 100.5. We're breathing a sigh of relief but really don't want to have this happen again. PLEASE PRAY, THANKS TONS
