Wed. February, 11th
Dear ones, many thanks for all of your prayers! Starting early this morning when Dan was wanting to eat, I felt relieved. He still has nausea but it has definitely lessened. YEAH! Today we also administered the final round of antibiotics. We're praying for his fever to finally quit going up. I'll keep you all posted, but take a minute and praise God for His help!

- My wonderful husband, Dan was diagnosed with melanocytic neoplasm in 1999. This is a slow growing form of melanoma that is spread through the nuerological system of the spine and brain. Dan is finally free from the grip of Cancer and is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dearest Dan & Carol,
I can't believe I'm just across town and can't come see you. Got in late Fricay and on Saturday (out of nowhere) Daddy started serious vomiting and spiked a temp of almost 102. He is better now, but was quite wipped out with the flu. The next night Mom was up all night with the same thing. Lots of folks here are ill including Ivaughn. Also, one of the care givers has swollen glands and Nina is very sick with sinus & temp.
This is all to say that, although I still feel fine, I have been very close to lots of sick people & would not think of coming over possibly carrying this
stuff. I love you all and pray many times daily for both of you and the boys.

Carol - Thank you for taking time to post frequent updates. Although we know our Heavenly Father knows exactly what each of you need, the updates help me in my humanness to know how to pray. May you continue to know the reality of God's great love and peace and healing power.
