Focusing on the present is the challenge of the moment!
So many decisions to be made in the weeks to come, which will affect Carol and the boys for years to come, as they restructure almost all the logistics of their lives. Thinking so long-term and preparing for life without Dan is OVERWHELMING for Carol at the moment.
She is so thankful for the boys, who had a great day, and who keep her in the present--since so many of their needs are immediate! Pray for focus minute by minute, with the strength to handle this over the long run! Also pray that she would lean on the Lord when she is struggling, and that he will guide her decisions and bring comfort to her over the long days ahead.

- My wonderful husband, Dan was diagnosed with melanocytic neoplasm in 1999. This is a slow growing form of melanoma that is spread through the nuerological system of the spine and brain. Dan is finally free from the grip of Cancer and is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hi Carol
Do you remember the day just before Easter when my daughter, Georgia, and I brought over cupakes and cookies? I just wanted you know to that we have both been reading the updates and continuing to keep you all in our daily prayers. Even though we never met Dan, we felt a closeness to all of you! Clearly you have many things facing you but it's also clear from the short amount of time spent at your home, that you have a deep, abiding faith in Jesus. We will be in touch in the days ahead to see if there is anything we can do or maybe just to go to lunch! God's comfort and blessings to you and the boys - Beth Ciani
