It looks like I will be going in for another surgery on Wednesday, June 25th at 7:00am at St. Lukes Hospital. I need to have the nodule at T12 removed and the scarring at T10 - from a past operation - peeled off the dura as it is buckling the cord at this place. Both, of course, are delicate operations. I will need to remain flat on my stomach after surgery for 4 days to give things a better chance to heal correctly.
I would appreciate your prayers for:
1 - That there will be no neurological deficit from either of these procedures.
2 - That 100% of the tumor will be removed and the scar tissue would come off easily.
2 - No infection.
3 - That the shunt would be set correctly before this begins - I go in later today to get it set.
4 - That the issues going into the surgery would be healed and that the Lord would give my body renewed strength to go through all aspects of the surgery.
5 - For quick recovery and relief of all pain quickly.
I will communicate more as I get more details.
