Tuesday update
Here is a quick update. I met with Dr. Morgan (pain specialist) yesterday and he suggested a spinal epidural injection to control new inflammation and pain. This will be done next Monday April 28th at 9:45 am. I meet with Dr. Camarata (my nuero-surgeon) on Thursday to discuss the results of the spinal tap. I will let you know then as I doubt I will receive and new information or results of tests before the meeting this Thursday. I am beginning to feel better though - am getting more mobile - and less nauseous. I am very grateful for this progress and will just have to take these small steps one day at a time until I can get back to where I was before this episode. Thanks to all for your prayers and notes of support - keep them coming as they are effective!

Hi Dan--I am praying this will relieve your pain--I have had several shots because of bulging, degenerating disks that arthritic. I have a neurostimulator implanted to block some of the pain that radiates down the legs--wish it was higher, though. There is also a narcotic drip mechanism that is implanted to alleviate the pain--not an oral pain med.I just pray that the Lord will totally remove all cancer from your body. You are a testimony to all! We are, indeed, totally connected to Christ--isn't it nice to sit in His presence!? Blessings and Sonshine to you and yours, Pat Calhoun, LowCountry Community Church, Bluffton SC
