Sun./Mon. Update

Thanks for all your prayers. Sunday was a good day - went to church and visited my Mother in honor of mothers day. She is amazing - 82 and going as strong as ever. Taking care of my Dad who has health challenges and keeping up with her 10 kids - 52 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. I am blessed to have such a godly heritage.

Today was more challenging. It has been a while since the injections and still no real noticeable results - I am still trusting but will meet with the pain management Dr. later this week to see what a next step would be.

I am learning so much through this though - I think I am beginning to have at least a tiny bit of insight into how the Psalmist could say something like this - "It was good for me that I was afflicted, That I might learn your statutes." (Ps 119:71) Pray that I would know the full measure of its meaning.
